Our good friends at ncaastrategies.com already have a copy of NCAA 09 for the PS3 and have set up a Q&A forum to answer all your questions. You can ask questions about anything and it's broken up into categories. There are some interesting details and a lot of information. CDJ the owner has even put up a video highlight here of a game he had against David Wales of PSU.com.
I also ran across a great article on ncaastrategies.com about Freezing The Kicker that can be viewed here.
"Following this timeout, the view for the kicking angle moves to a lower perspective (making it tougher to line up the kick), there is a ‘heartbeat' audio effect, the kicking meter is iced over (making it more difficult to see), and the visuals will slow down when the ball is in the air.
Talking with NCAA Producer Sean Bailey at the EA Sports Football Community Event in May, he stated that these changes were made to help make important kicks challenging. Previously, the NCAA development team felt that good kickers could make almost every attempt that was within the player's range. However, with ‘Ice the Kicker,' he stated that near-perfect players may drop to approximately a 60% clip."
Read more here. Looks very promising and I can't wait to get my hands on the 360 copy tomorrow to share with you guys. |
