Well with the addition of Online Dynasty to NCAA 09 this year, I must say it might be single handly the best addition to any game that I have played to this date.
My self along with four others from Sportsgamer have joined forces and are almost complete with our first season. Now you may be asking yourself why only five users when you can have up to twelve. Well going into this I knew that in order for this thing to work they way I wanted it to, it would take a small knit group and some guys that are relatively active on the forums. I have seen too many leagues that try to fill every team possible, and why to set themselves up for failure? This is the beauty of Online Dynasty being able to do all the regular dynasty tasks, but with other members and not having to commit three days a week to scheduling games with opponents. This way we are able to play our games at our own lesiure and any time of the day we feel. Granted there are only two SEC teams (Georgia and Florida) who had to schedule at date, but the rest of us chose to go with a team that we would like to make into a powerhouse.....well at least I did. Sure there has been some minor bumps in the road along our 15 week journey, but all in all I am really satisfied with the dynasty efforts by EA. With the scheduled release of the second patch right around the way, who knows what this game as in store for me. I know one thing it has done and that is not made me miss Madden. For the first time in what 20 years I will not have madden. 20 years of madden and I have played every installment with the exception of this year of course. Online Dynasty is like crack and I got to have another fix.
