OUCH... Coming Back is Tough

Who Knew?
In the last few weeks, I've been really busy doing everything EXCEPT playing Madden: Updating websites, working the night shift, servicing the woman, etc... But now that I'm making my return, it's not so triumphant. I'm taking beatings left and right. Not to be outdone, I'm issuing a beating or two, but not at the rate at which I'm taking them.
At first, I thought it was my timing. So I played thru it long enough to get it back. Then I thought maybe it's my scheme, so I worked to tweak it a bit to get my mojo back. Then I guessed it must be play selection, so I started calling plays based on an alternate philosophy that has me running the ball more.
What now? I'm able to score more often, but not nearly as often as I'd like. I never thought it would be this tough to shake off the rust... But I'm still at it.
