Some folks think this is a "minor" upgrade to last years edition and that Madden will put it to bed when it launches. I still feel as though it is still a little early, I do not play a lot until I have roster names. Of course at 1st glance it looks good and plays fine, but that is expected by the time the game comes out I am so football starved that I just am happy to play it. as far as the upgraded stuff isn't it EAs' standard move to "tweak" a game that has history and a following? I enjoyed last years NCAA and early on like this one too. The subtle changes are what has added detail and more enjoyment. There seems to be more strategy, better catch and tackle animation, and lttle bells and whistles that are a nice touch. Once I get into my rosters and play Dynasty I will blog more about what I think. The Teambuilder and Road to glory stuff is pretty cool, it's nice to see my high school team I never had, look good and play better than I hoped. I really hope Madden steps up their game because the last few years I have played NCAA for far longer than I could tolerate Madden, it's just been more fun, and with all the customization for college it seems to be a little more so... I guess time and gameplay will decide the outcome.
