One of the best features going into the Madden season had to be the addition of online franchise. With online franchise you and 31 of your best online buddies can go through 10 seasons playing with your favorite team and building a dynasty. Unfortunately in my opinion online franchise has not lived up to my expectations. With the instability of online, the lack of salary cap, and players raping the Free Agent pool at will and dumb trades I find it really bad at times.
Let me first say that I’m in 2 Online Franchises and both of them are different.

In a blog today by Carlos of EA Sports Live crew down at E3, he talks to Josh Looman about the new things in Franchise mode. This has to be one of the most in depth franchise mode ever. Josh Looman, the guy who works on Madden Franchise, says there are things in Franchise mode this year that fans have been asking for in the last 10 years.

So there was a slip on the Madden Online Co-op Video that suggested Online Franchise was in Madden 10. Today at the EA E3 Presser, Peter Moore announced the feature for the whole world officially.

I know it’s still February, but you have to be impressed with EA and their decision to start revealing stuff so early. Ian Cummings has just posted a blog on EA about a new addition that will sure to have Franchise guys smiling from ear to ear. I’m not a Franchise guy, but I know plenty that are and this is something that they have been asking about. I can’t wait to hear some of the Gameplay additions that they have added, but I think we are still a good two months away from that. Enjoy this cause there is surely more to come.
